Dr. Melissa Bonilla has been a valued member of our practice since 2007, bringing years of experience and a deep commitment to patient care. Her academic journey began at Yale University, where she graduated in 1993 and had the unique opportunity to serve as a White House intern—a role that sparked her passion for service and leadership. Driven by her interest in medicine, she went on to earn her medical degree in 2001 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Today, Dr. Bonilla is proud to be on staff at both Jersey Shore Medical Center and CentraState Medical Center, where she collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Fluent in English and Spanish, she values building strong connections with patients from diverse backgrounds and ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Bonilla enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking, biking, or simply appreciating nature. She treasures quality time with her husband and two children, often engaging in family activities that keep them active and connected. Her dedication to both her patients and her family reflects her warm, approachable personality and her belief in living a balanced, fulfilling life.
